Modeling, Simulation, Optimization, Trauma, Physiology, Medical End-Users, Virtual Patients

Entitled to 16th century Italian mathematician, medical doctor and lawyer A. Argoli, the Argoli joint research team is a multidisciplinary group of scientists conducting applied research in the fields of trauma, shock, CBRNE, crime, metabolism (diabetes and obesity), regulation of brain blood flow, psychiatry, employing bio-mathematical modelling, simulation and statistical estimation techniques. The Argoli group operates from the Gemelli University Hospital in Rome.

A methodological approach to Crisis Management
We model the dynamics, the operating procedures and the external influences affecting the behavior of the main actors in the chain of emergency management. Simulation is an extremely cost-effective way to understand, test, challenge and optimize the response to complex crisis scenarios, and to train field operatives.
